Richard A. RussO - Chairman

Richard A. Russo was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania on August 14, 1955. He was raised in Pittston, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Pittston Area High School. In 1977, he graduated magna cum laude from Wilkes University, and in 1980 graduated cum laude from Temple University School of Law in Philadelphia. While at Temple Law School, he was the recipient of the Barrister's Society Trial Advocacy Award.

Attorney Russo was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1980. He also is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.

Richard A. Russo belongs to a number of professional associations including the Pennsylvania Bar Association and its Civil Litigation Section, the Wilkes-Barre Law and Library Association where he serves on its Bench Bar Committee, the American Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, and the Northeastern Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association where he also served as its president.

Attorney Russo is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, which is a prestigious group of lawyers in the United States who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements for their clients. Mr. Russo is also proud to have received an AV Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

Among his many victories for accident victims was his successful representation of Grammy award winning singer, Gloria Estefan and her internationally renowned music producer husband, Emilio Estefan, who were injured in an interstate tractor trailer/bus accident in the Pocono Mountains. In his 26 years of practicing law, Attorney Russo has successfully handled numerous other serious and complex personal injury cases in Federal and State Court.

Richard A. Russo currently serves as the vice president of the Committee for Justice for All, which is a non-profit northeastern Pennsylvania advocacy group fighting to preserve the integrity of the civil justice system and the constitutional right of all Americans to trial by a jury of their peers.

Howard M. Levinson

Howard M. Levinson was born in Washington, D.C. on September 3, 1948. In 1970, he graduated from Lehigh University and went on to receive his J.D. in 1974 from Georgetown University Law Center. He was a Student Editor of the Federal Bar Journal from 1973 to 1974.

Attorney Levinson was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1974, and has also been admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Attorney Levinson served from 1974 to 1978 as a Deputy Attorney General with the Pennsylvania Department of Justice. He is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.

Attorney Levinson has extensive experience in handling cases of significant exposure for both plaintiff and defendant. He has successfully tried numerous medical malpractice cases and is a frequent lecturer on this subject. In addition, he has handled several multimillion dollar complex construction cases and developed creative theories of liability on behalf of owners and contractors.

His recent selection as a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates gives recognition to his skill as an accomplished trial lawyer and advocate.

Robert D. Schaub

Robert D. Schaub was born in Plainview, New York on October 24, 1959.  In 1981, he graduated magna cum laude from LeMoyne College where he was a member of Alpha Sigma Nu. He received his Juris Doctor in 1984 from Catholic University. Mr. Schaub received the Engalicheff Outstanding Young American Award while attending Georgetown University.

Attorney Schaub was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1984. He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the United States Claims Court.

Attorney Schaub serves on the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Professional Liability Committee. He is also a member of the American Bar Association and the Wilkes-Barre Law and Library Association, and chairs the Bench Bar Committee.

Attorney Schaub has tried numerous cases to verdict. He was involved in the representation of Emilio and Gloria Estefan who were injured in an interstate tractor trailer/bus accident in the Pocono Mountains. He has also successfully represented many clients who suffered significant personal injuries and the family members of wrongful death victims, including the families of four victims who were killed in a tragic boating accident.

Joseph G. Ferguson

Joseph G. Ferguson was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania on August 4, 1960. In 1985, he graduated cum laude from Marywood College. In 1988, Attorney Ferguson graduated from Dickinson School of Law where he received his Juris Doctor and was a member of the Dickinson Law Review and the Order of the Woolsack.

Attorney Ferguson was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1988.

Mr. Ferguson’s practice includes the handling various types of litigation matters including claims for personal injury and insurance bad faith. He has litigated matters in both state and federal courts including jury trials and bench trials. Mr. Ferguson is a past president of the Middle District Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, has served as a member of the executive committee of the Wilkes-Barre Law and Library Association and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Luzerne County Bar Association Charitable Foundation and the Northeast Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association.

Andrew D. Bigda

Attorney Andrew D. Bigda was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on February 25, 1965. In 1987, he graduated from St. Lawrence University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. Attorney Bigda continued his education at the Columbus School of Law at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. where he obtained his Juris Doctor in 1994.

Attorney Andrew D. Bigda was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar and the Maryland Bar in 1995. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Bigda is a member of the Wilkes-Barre Law and Library Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association and the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association. He also was the Young Lawyers Division Chairman of the Wilkes-Barre Law and Library Association in 2000.

Attorney Bigda served as a Luzerne County Assistant District Attorney from 1995 to 2000, where he tried a number of significant criminal cases. From 1995 until 1999 he was a member of the Pennsylvania District Attorneys Association. In 1998, he took his experience to the classroom, working as an Adjunct Professor instructing Business Law students at Luzerne County Community College.

No stranger to the courtroom, Attorney Bigda has tried to verdict over 45 jury cases. Since 2000, Attorney Bigda has dedicated a large percentage of his practice to personal injury litigation cases, having experience trying personal injury cases in both state and federal courts. In 2005, Attorney Bigda gained a significant victory on behalf of accident victims in federal appellate court arguing that the owner of a motor vehicle is also responsible for the negligence of the driver.

Thomas J. Campenni

Attorney Thomas J. Campenni was born in Kingston, Pennsylvania on January 11, 1975. In 1997, he graduated from Cornell University and went on to obtain his Juris Doctor in 2001 from Temple University School of Law. He was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 2001. Attorney Campenni is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Campenni is a member of the Wilkes-Barre Law and Library Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association. In 2001 he served as Law Clerk to Chief Judge Thomas I. Vanaskie of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

James C. Oschal

Attorney James C. Oschal was born in Pittston, Pennsylvania on April 24, 1961.  He is a Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate from Columbia College, where he received the Charles F. Hoelzer, Jr., Memorial Scholarship in Economics.  Attorney Oschal received his Juris Doctor Degree from Cornell Law School in 1986.

Attorney Oschal began his legal career with the New York City law firm of Rogers and Wells, and then returned home to Northeastern Pennsylvania and joined Rosenn, Jenkins & Greenwald.  He is admitted to practice in the State Courts of Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey, as well as the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Second and Third Circuit, and the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Eastern Districts of Pennsylvania, the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey.

Attorney Oschal has extensive experience in Federal Court litigation and has frequently been appointed as an arbitrator with respect to personal injury claims.

Attorney Oschal is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, the Wilkes-Barre Law and Library Association, the Lackawanna County Bar Association, and the Northeast Pennsylvania Trial Lawyer’s Association.  He currently serves on the Lawyer’s Advisory Committee for the Judicial Conference for the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
